Our goal is to reinvigorate Manazuru's stone crafting industry. We collaborate as one with the local community of stone artisan's, promoting our towns heritage, and skilled traditions. We want our customers to enjoy life while using our premium, durable, handcrafted products throughout Japan and overseas.
All our products are made from Honkomatsu stone, a type of premium andesite stone that comes from Mount Komatsu, found only in Manazuru, Japan. Our stone is a rare and luxurious signature stone, and has been used throughout Japan since the 1600's and by the Imperial Palace to build a Edo castle.
We are committed to a sustainable business using SDG Goals. All our products are environmentally friendly, reusable, and long lasting.

With the rise of automation, stone tools and masons are fading away. Manazuru, birthplace of HonKomatsu stone is one of those being affected.
Our kitchen utensils, made of premium HonKomatsu stone, used by the Imperial Palace since the 1600’s.
Our goal is to reintroduce stone tools and the style of “living a mindful life” in balance.
Our Stone Spice Bowl Square is a rare square stable design, that’s beautiful, durable, heat resistant. HonKomatsu stones unique feature is that it's colour naturally becomes deeper and changes over time. All our products are carefully handcrafted by first-class masons in Manazuru, Japan. This spice bowl's surface is left unpolished giving it a natural look. A true one-of-a-kind all-purpose cooking tool, that can be used in the kitchen or as a display piece.
JETRO
TAKAMUI Next 2023
We have been selected for TAKUMI Next 2023, a project run by JETRO(Japan trade organization) and METI(Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry), that supports the Japanese cultural artisan expanding their products into overseas markets.
As part of this project in 2022, ishiyano daidokoro exhibited our products at SuperMama, in National Museum Singapore
